There are some interesting choices happening in D.C. in February, and we want to be sure you don’t miss them. Here are a few things you might not know about happening nearby.
Atlas Performing Arts Center kicks off its 10th anniversary celebration with the Atlas INTERSECTIONS Festival 2016 from Feb. 26-March 6. It includes performances, experiences and happenings in theatre, dance, music, vocal, choral, opera, visual arts, video, film, writing, sculpture, photography, circus, spoken word, public art, community art, and art space activation.
Performances include The Maverick Lemons Dance Project, Black Masala and Opera on Tap. You can also see Capital City Symphony presenting Go-Go Symphony and Washington Balalaika Society presenting a Russian Folk Orchestra.
Washington Jewish Film Festival
The Washington Jewish Film Festival runs Feb. 24 to March 6. It is an international exhibition of cinema that celebrates the diversity of Jewish culture. A wide variety of movies are shown at locations around the area including the National Gallery of Art, West End Cinema and the Washington DC Jewish Community Center.
Annapolis Restaurant Week
Annapolis Restaurant Week is Feb. 22 to 26. Travel a little outside D.C. and try a new place. The specials include two-course breakfasts and lunches and three-course dinners.
