Memorial Day in D.C. - The Apartments at CityCenter

Memorial Day weekend is a great time to live downtown. There is a lot going on and at the Apartments at CityCenter you are in the middle of it.

Here are some ideas for your Memorial Day weekend:

•  The National Memorial Day Parade happens Monday, May 25 starting at 2 p.m. It starts at Constitution Avenue and 7th Street, NW. It will proceed west down Constitution, past the White House, ending at 17th Street.

•  The night before the parade (at 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 24) is a free Memorial Day concert on the west lawn of the Capitol. This year it is hosted by Tony Award-winner Joe Mantegna and Emmy Award-winner Gary Sinise.

•  Rolling Thunder brings about 900,000 motorcycle riders to the city with the rally happening on Sunday, May 24.

•  Start your weekend off with something different and go to the National Gallery of Art’s Jazz in the Garden in the Sculpture Garden. May 22 features jazz guitarist Tom Lagana from 5-8:30 p.m.
