Don't miss the Kids Euro Festival
Have you been enjoying the Kids Euro Festival? If not, you still have a week left!
It is one of the country’s largest performing arts festivals for children with more than 125 free events around the city. It runs from now until Nov. 8 and it’s all brought to you by the 28 European Union Member States.
Here are some of the highlights happening this week:
Nov. 2 at 10:30 a.m. see Storytelling from Ireland at the Capitol View Library for ages 8 and up
Nov. 2 at 6 p.m. see Drum Bommel from Luxembourg at the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage for ages 3-9
Nov. 3 at 5 p.m. see “Mysterious Boy,” a live action film from Croatia at Deanwood Library for ages 9 and up
Nov. 3 at 4 p.m. see Music To Your Ears from the United Kingdom at the Palisades Library for ages 7-14
Nov. 4 at 6 p.m. see Baba Marta’s Yarn Puppetry / Storytelling Performance from Bulgaria at the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage for ages 5-11
Nov. 6 at 4 p.m. see “Moomins on the Riviera,” an animated film, from Finland at Mount Pleasant Library for all ages
Nov. 7 at 10:30 a.m. see “The Amazing Wiplala,” a live action film from The Netherlands at the National Gallery of Art for ages 8-13.
Nov. 8 at 11:30 a.m. see “Finn,” a live action film from the Netherlands at the National Gallery of Art for ages 10 and up.
