Paint the Town Pink with Bozzuto

We have been Painting the Town Pink with Bozzuto all month in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

We’ve been wearing pink, collecting pennies and encouraging donations to Susan G. Komen’s Passionately Pink organization.

Passionately Pink donations help support Komen’s breast cancer research initiatives, and just as importantly Passionately Pink donations are shared with their network of local affiliates to help provide life-saving education, screening and treatment programs at the community level. Passionately Pink looks at the zip code where the donation originates and shares the donation with the Komen Affiliate that services that area.

Death rates from breast cancer have been declining since about 1989, with larger decreases in women younger than 50, according to the American Cancer Society. These decreases are believed to be the result of earlier detection through screening and increased awareness, as well as improved treatment.

Here is how you can be part of the efforts at the Apartments at CityCenter:

You are welcome to be part of all of it! Please share photos of how you’re raising awareness using the hashtag #PaintOurTownPink.
