Jazz, Salsa Dancing Fun This Week

Our Resident Appreciation Week includes a special treat Tuesday night. An evening of jazz with the Tim Whalen Trio will happen from 6:30-8 p.m. on the Mezzanine. Tim is a jazz pianist/arranger/composer who has written music for everything from jazz duos to orchestras.

He moved to Washington D.C. in 2010 and has played with many musicians in the area. He has also played all over the United States, Japan and Europe.

Then on Friday night get ready to salsa! Sentimiento Latin dance school will come to us from Baltimore. It was founded by Brandon Bachata and Nancy Salsa in 2013 to teach people different styles of Latin dancing. Food, drink and dancing. What a great way to start your holiday weekend!
